After what that rude person said to you earlier I do not blame you one bit. The net is a huge place-and yet it can become very intimate too. Scary at times you know? That's why I do the same thing-I friend's lock alot. Only my spams stay open. It's just...better this way.

I do keep everything locked in my LJ so maybe i'm not the best one to do any recommendation but i did it because i had a bad experience in the Twilight fandom and decided that only the ppl i wanted would read my journal, after all it's mine and i'm the one paying for a LJ account, but i think you could lock your travel posts
