Updated friends-lock
This is not going to apply to anyone who usually posts at this LJ because you're already on my friends list and will be unaffected.
I've grown a bit lax of late with my friends-locking - my LJ had turned back into its fuzzy, cosy little corner of cyberspace where I babbled about this and that as the spirit moved me. Recent encounters with people in fandom have reminded me of the toxic unpleasantness that exists out there and have reminded me that I really don't want my goofy randomness out there for people to see. While most people I meet on LJ are lovely, some people really are inexplicably rude and awful and while I know that's life and that's the Internet - I choose not to accept it or deal with it on my LJ.
Accordingly, fandom posts (including pic spams), random links to things that I find funny/cute will remain unlocked. The odd Elbie photo will be unlocked. I am going to be friends-locking everything about Elbie, moving back to Australia, my silly attempts at cooking, our new house, Random Stupid Thoughts - most things actually.
I'm sorry to all the lurkers - I know there are quite a few of you out there. If you still want to read my journal, I can probably set up some sort of shared account for lurkers to use or something like that.
