Carlsbad Marathon is tomorrow. It will be interesting as combination of illness and ridiculout work hours has kept me from running for like a month now. I managed to get in a couple hundred miles of biking and I felt pretty good during the Century bike ride last weekend, so hopefully all will go well.

Ocotillo 100 was yesterday. Actually, it was more like an Ocotillo 94 as the ride was only 100 miles if you did a certain section twice (which, thanks the the evil head-winds, I decided not to do). Still it was a very cold 94 miles with two sections that required me to walk the bike for 100 yards or so (Which I really hate to do, but... damn they ( Read more... )

Huzzah, I only had to work a normal day today. I've been supporting a proposal at work and the hours have been bloody insane. Mostly 12 or so hour days. The annoying thing is that my group was left out of the proposal work until it was way late and they suddenly realized that they desperately needed us, then we ramped up and got them some amazing ( Read more... )
