Marathon Update
OMG. That was a rough run. The convalescense from that nastly flu-like bug definitely had an impact as I finished about a half an hour slower than my best time.
Interesting that my third marathon and my third half marathon were both my worst.
Anyways, a bit of a creepy moment when I saw one of the groups handing out water were the "Camp Pendleton Young Marines". I must say I'm uncomfortable with 10 year olds serving in a militaristic youth program. It has disturbing echoes.
