Why wasn't I informed of this?

The conference been held each year since before your debut in the States, Franziska. I missed it last year, but I usually take care to attend.

It's a smaller one, admittedly, but I enjoy the atmosphere.

Very well. I'll go, too.

Isn't this relatively short notice to make such a decision? I'd imagine you'd have booked your next week full with trials already.

Attorneys' Nation? I think I've heard of that conference. It would be very cool to be part of such a think tank.

Do you know, is it too late to buy a seat?

I don't believe it's too late, no--at least for general entry. Some sessions have long been booked full, however. Tickets as well as the itinerary are available on the official website.

...However, I warn you that I'll be quite occupied for the entirety of the week. I won't be there to babysit you.

I am seventeen, not seven, ja? I will not cling to your arm the entire week.

So I'm checking out the itinerary, and I see this panel titled "Talking Turkey: Testimony from Animals." The site says it is booked, but I am very intrigued. Do you happen to have a seat for that, and if so, how much is it worth to you?

I do have a seat for it, yes--but you can have it. Experiencing such a scenario in the courtroom is, upon reflection, quite sufficient.

Don't worry about the cost.

Aw... I just got back into town though...

Shall I take that as a desire to catch up in person?

I'll be away for only the week.

An Attorney's Nation conference? That sounds very important, sir!

If Detective Gumshoe needs any help, please know I'll be standing by at the ready, sir!

...You have my thanks, Ms. Byrde. Though you've just reminded me to include the numbers of Pess' veterinarian and the 24 hour clinic in the duffel bag Gumshoe will be taking with him.

That's the other con in the same place as Samuraicon! I thought about trying to sneak in if I get a chance to go, but I'm not sure I will anymore. I might have to sneak out of here and THEN sneak in...

...That's a lot of sneaking for just one convention.

It's worth it for the Steel Samurai! And also lawyer stuff. I think they might be talking about me on one of the panels, which is why I wanted to sneak in.

I see that panel here on the itinerary, yes.
