Now that my commute is ridiculously long, I get to work almost an hour before I need to be. Somehow this makes me more motivated to work. I'm ... not sure how getting up earlier and working longer can pull that off, but it does.

So ... so I have this really ridiculously difficult work schedule where I close the place down on Tuesday nights and then come back at 9:30 on Wednesday morning. Normally this is sufficient time to sleep and haul myself out of bed to be here at 9:30am.

The radio station I always listen to in the morning during my ridiculous commute was playing insufferable, terribly cheesy and demented songs with little children singing over it, a la "Tears in Heaven" and other such whiney things.
