What Happens Next? (also DUST teaser)

There are times when I sit and stare at whatever it is I'm writing and wonder What Happens Next? And then I stare at it some more and wish it would hurry up and write itself, because I really want to know, dammit.

Whenever I'm stuck, that's the question that I ask myself: What Happens Next? WHN? is, possibly, the reason my stories get finished. ( Read more... )

Don't know if you meant for this to be funny, but the last paragraph had me laughing out loud (or maybe because I just finished a long day at work). I can practically see Spike getting frustrated with himself.

Also love how you show rather than tell :)

I thought that snippet was kind of disturbingly hot. Love it!

Interesting thoughts on WHN, also. Nice to get a small insight into your writing process. :)

Bits of dialog like this are so in character, that they make them real.

I use the WHN too. I don't think I'm half the writer you are, but somehow, that I use the same way of moving forward, made me smile (how lame and stalker-y did that sound? *hides*)
