That is one seriously disgusting smile. I can feel my blood sugar spiking through the internet...

Sewing is something I always wanted to like (since I love making things and always want to customize everything I own so it suits me exactly) but I just can't. I hate cutting and pinning the pattern. The sewing part is okay, but the rest...augh, so tedious. Also...if I make clothes, even choosing the proper size according to the pattern...everything I've ever made has wound up being about three sizes too big for me. I'm not built right. I have to size to my chest since it's way bigger than my hips. Maybe that's the problem, I don't know, but clothes I make for myself are always big enough to swim in. Except the chest, which usually does fit fine. And I haven't the talent to alter the dimensions to fit my apparently unnatural figure (I guess women aren't allowed to be very top-heavy?) and still have it look right ( ... )

I have... mixed feelings about sewing. I like making "stuff." I love piecing quilt tops - picking out the colors and patterns, and seeing it all come together. Assembling it afterwards? Boooorrrrring ( ... )

Maybe Charlotte will learn sewing really well and, having learned so early, will be great at it and can take over for you. :)
