Assembly finished!
This afternoon she finished putting the chemise together. I did the pinning, but she did all the sewing - including setting the sleeves.
To be clear, this chemise has four gores in the side seams, and armpit gussets. Charlotte did all the sewing.
She's also clear on the fact that all the rest of the seams need to be hand finished. She's not keen on the idea, but she knows it's necessary, and she's raring to go.
I just can't believe it.
