Anniversary Dinner
The BF & I reached our 12 anniversary together last week, so we made a date for tonight to go someplace nice & different. After debating where to go, we finally decided to wander into the North End to seek tasty sustenance. Glad you got the good end of the stick. Excellent gnocchi are one of my favorite things in the whole world, at least partly because they are so rare. The European--which used to be a North End institution, the first restaurant you'd hit on Hanover Street, until they suddenly closed about ten years ago--had fantastic ones that I still miss. I keep thinking of trying to make them, but I get the impression that I'd have to have bad-to-mediocre gnocchi a hundred times before getting the hang of it and I'm not sure Jason would stand for it.
But anyway, really glad you had such a nice evening.
