So, yeah, since I and many of my posts are illegal in Russia and Livejournal is now in Russia's jurisdiction (I simplify, but still), I'm wandering over to Dreamwidth, where I also have a permanent account. I may, at some point, clear out much of my lj content. Idunno. But all that content should be over at DW now, where I am also rmd. -

Somerville-area exterior construction?
I need some external repairs done on my house - my regular small-scale guy (Rick Miller) doesn't want to do it because it involves Stupid Ladder tricks due to location on the house, and my regular large-scale construction folks (Stealth) haven't returned my call or email. DAMMIT
My throat had been doing so much better and I was down to a mild cough kept in check with liberal application of occasional cough drops. Until late this afternoon when I had a relentless coughing fit so hard I almost threw up. And now my throat is back to hurting when I breathe too vigorously, nevermind hurting when I swallow at all.

If all goes as scheduled, my truck will be getting picked up today while I'm at work. I bought it in March 1996 after I moved to WA. I slept in the open back of it on the Olympic Peninsula, slept in it in campgrounds in California after I got the cap for the back.
