Basically I had the guts to do what I wanted to that day Martel face-planted on the deck and crushed the nose of the mask, since repaired with glue and paint. One of those occurrances that makes me wish I didn't have a favorite, but I can't help it, and if I could, I would have picked a different doll ( Read more... )

Oh wow. These I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I also love him in the Fer. Awesome.

Now, one question. HOW do you get him to stand so well? I've got Ten visiting and his knees seem a bit woobly.

I like to delude myself into believing that he wears that fer like a man. XD

He's pilver sueded in his knee and hip joints. Hot glue everywhere else, but it's mostly rubbed off, which is why he's been falling. (totally 100% my fault) I had my legs in a V with him in the middle so I could catch him if he tried to fall again.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh okay. Ten has hot glue sueding everywhere, but it's running into some issue in other places (mainly the knees). The pilver will be up to swankkat.

Is Ten tightly strung? Aston and Duke only have hot glue and they stand really well. I just find Martel easier to pose for some reason - and I don't know why 'cause he's got the exact same body.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun taking Martel into the Underdeck.

Hopefully the other camera... if my sister can find it, will be just fine.

The problem is that I also can't see through the viewfinder well enough to see what I'm taking a picture of - at least in the light I had. (oh and the compensation breaking broke the LCD screen, too) So it's kind of hit or miss at the moment. I think, though, if it's bright enough, I might still be able to work that camera a bit.

I like taking pictures of my dolls in different places for certain effects (more like trying certain effects) because I'm just not good at making montages. I'd rather just be able to take the snapshot and do as little post processing as I can get away with. I guess that's a huge reason why I take pictrues and what I enjoy about it? (My other favorite doll picture-taking places are the storm sewer and the creek out behind my house.)
