Basically I had the guts to do what I wanted to that day Martel face-planted on the deck and crushed the nose of the mask, since repaired with glue and paint. One of those occurrances that makes me wish I didn't have a favorite, but I can't help it, and if I could, I would have picked a different doll ( Read more... )

These photos are lovely. I really like the texture the Fer coat is having in these.

Those Fer coats are the best part of the outfits IMO. I kind of want to say the dress itself is inconsequential to all the other parts.

Lovely shots! I like this one best out of the two of him laying on the ground...and this one is my favourite out of the rest of them...love the way the wig and the mask draw eachother out against all the gray and tan.
....and really, he does wear the Fer like a man. *heh* A very foppish man, but definitely a man. =3

It sucks about the camera, though. >__

Thank you! Thst second one is probably my favorite too - and it was a pain in the butt to get him to cooperate for that, but he did it. He's such a good doll. Most of the time. ;)

I totally want a dollshe-sized fer and I keep meaning to write to Dollheart and then forgetting.

Yeah. Camera sux. Such is life. :/

I like all of these photos VERY MUCH. Hmmmm above or on the ground? I think my vote is for above . . . but on the ground is very awesome too. Love the way you experiemnt with costuming, posing, and the colors were very lovely and subtle!! :)

Thank you!! I can't believe I *very gingerly* put him face-down on the ground so I could take pictures. Woah!

I actually wanted to keep going with a second and third doll, but the dead camera sort of ended that. :/

My camera was such a good little beast about color. For a little point-and-shoot, I believe it actually has some sort of engineered glass lens, which was the big selling point when I bought it 4 or 5 years ago. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

But color! combination of the hour before sunset, a happy camera, and a colorful doll. I didn't mess with the contrast too much because I didn't want to lose a lot of detail.

And you're absolutely right - it died happy. I'm pleased with it.

Man, i love these; last gift from a dead camera, indeed. I also particuarly liek the echo of his mask-necklace; it should be too much, but it isn't, and ends up being understated.

I feel like I should write a eulogy to that camera. Or perhaps an ode. What a cheesy journal entry that would be. XD
