Okay let me just get this out of the way:

Squeeee!! I have been stalking your LJ today in hopes of new Kittyfic, and HFS, here is this and more Bracelet. Thank you thank you thank you *kisses hem*.

Ahem. So. This rocked. Hot, sweet, funny, and deft. Excellent set-up for a one-shot, but clearly this can go places when you want it to. Angsty, smutty, feisty little places, yep. You definitely do smut with soul (or in this case smutless smut with soul), and as usual, you've made characters with depth who are both flawed and adorable. I am in awe of the way you play Rose and Scorpius's inner experiences against their self-presentation, for maximum conflict, confusion, and arousal. (And I know from reading Bracelet that you can do that with even more characters at a time, while making sure the various interactions both develop character and move the story forward. Which is really difficult and impressive and also makes me really trust you as a storyteller.)

lol, well, the spanking was more a convenient way to deal with a power struggle anyway. She pushes, he loses it, he feels bad for abusing her vulnerability, and she thinks she won. It's really warped, actually. XD

I'm glad you liked it, though. :) This is definitely on my to-do list, but unfortunately, my other projects are fairly time consuming.

Still lovely, lovely scenes... i liked that rose won and made Scorpius lose, I love that he realized that she was attracted to him and is determined to win her over, and i ADORE had his winning her over methods are exactly the kind of thing that is going to make her even more determined to refuse him...

Poor Lamont... oh, I also love Rose's desire to get under Al's skin... hehe... that part is funny :)

Glad you decided to give these two a shot and LOVE how you wrote them :)

I'm very glad you liked it =) I was a bit nervous writing the couple this way for several reasons... like, I felt it was perhaps a bit unorthodox to have them both be such... characters. *grin* And, also, there's the whole touching/kissing others and liking it (especially on Rose's part, because girls aren't supposed to like the touch of anyone but her One True Love!) that I felt might turn some people off.

Oh, and the whole Al thing is probably not common either. I just thought that... well, you know. Family. Cousins. They can be annoying. ;)
