Forgot the camera! Dang! Any chance we can convince you to stop and buy one of those one use cameras? If not, maybe someone at the intensive will share photos with you and you can share a few with us.
I await a full review. I wanted to go to this but couldn't do it financially. I wish they'd do a Samhain one at the Grove. The one in May didn't look (I didn't go or anything) as organized. Or maybe it's just that I am being drawn to ancestor work right now and culling types of work.
Have fun! I am eager to see what K. thinks of the whole experience as well.
Really, it depends on the monkey. They come in different sizes, so the amount of trouble they cause can vary from getting-into-tight-spaces-and-messing-with-stuff mischief to full-bore carrying-off-the-infant mayhem - and it gets worse if you include apes in the equation, even though they are decidedly *not* monkeys.
one monkey?? ha!rio_lunaOctober 4 2007, 15:58:17 UTC
my ex husband toook my Cartman talking doll to work, and lket his sister's 2 year old play with it. When I objected, he said, Oh how fast could he learn words from it?
I just stared and asked: How fast is language acquisition in an upper-order primate?
evidently the kid greeeted his dad that evening: Hiya you bastard.
