Following up from the post with the UPS ninjas:

Have not seen actual UPS ninjas, which proves nothing, I know. Am, however, hopeful they are not after me as I have also not found shuriken embedded in my walls, nor other implements of ninja deadliness.

The continuing adventures of the mysterious package of mysteriousness )

supernatural, don't judge me!, wtf, rl

I know, right? I admire its tenacity, but now it's just starting to get a little creepy. ;)

...An adventure of ridiculousness! :D Perhaps it is my ~destiny! I am about to set off on my journey and will report back later! (LOL, I am a great fan of horrimazingly bad jokes/puns/everything ever, so I quite enjoyed that. :D)

*CHINHANDS OF FASCINATION*

Maybe it is your destiny! Maybe you'll get bitten by one of Hitler's zombie radioactive german shepherds on the way and become A Superhero and save the cheerleader world! XD IT IS YOUR DESTINY, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT!

I am all agog! GOOD LUCK, BB! MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU! <3

PACKAGE DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY. \o/

Sadly, I did not see any doggies on my journey, Nazi zombie or otherwise. :( (I did see a dude with a cat on a leash, though, so that's something?)

Obviously this package is a sign of destiny. It has chosen you as the hero of it's story and now you must transverse the scary land consisting of the miles between your house and the correct recipient to deliver this package safely into the waiting arms of ...someone who will shape the course of your destiny? :D

Now I want to know what's insideeee.

...or maybe it's a serial killer and there really are a mish-mash of human body parts wrapped in butcher paper and twine and this is all just some clever plot to get you alone and unguarded.

...What do you mean I watch too much TV?

That is surprisingly close to my initial thoughts when the package came back the second time? Only there was more of me being horribly murdered and whatnot because that is who I am in any given movie scenario. Which. Huh. Maybe I should rethink this whole journeying across town thing again. ;)

There is no such thing! Television provides us with helpful and important things to know to keep us safe. Such as how to recognize when you have been chosen for ~destiny via a package wrongly delivered to your home, and also that when the scary music plays you will soon be horribly murdered/there is a villain about!

Perhaps going into the post office and pointing very clearly to the ~not your address on the package and explaining it in very simple terms that that is not, in fact, your address? And then they can take care of it (which, okay, they obviously didn't do too well with on their own the first what, two, three times? But you know, mysterious packages of mystery are only fun if they don't get you killed. Though that's probably melodramatic but it is ~suspicious that it showed up again so many times, no?)

I await those musical cues with great trepidation when roaming dark alleyways at night! When they do not appear, I turn to my ipod and sprint away to the sound of epic, blaring ~dun dun dunnn music. Thank god for TV and it's very educational stranger danger techniques.

I am back! And not horribly murdered! \o/

I had errands to run with a friend on that side of town anyway, so she came with me when I went on my journey. Everything went fine, and now there is a lady on the other side of town who has finally received her mysterious package of mysteriousness. :D

Unfortunately there aren't many dark alleyways nearby my house, but we do have a nice park with spooky trees and a little creek. I am convinced there are many creatures within that probably eat people, so there is that, I suppose? But yes. :)?
