I calculated the time of Grace's memorial here would be 4.30am on Monday morning and it just so happened that I was part of a 24 hour relay walk from 3pm Saturday to 3pm Sundayto raise awareness of cancer and to raise money for services to people who'd suffered from it. And it just so happened that I was walking at 4.30am on Sunday, and it just so happened that I was wearing my warm purple jacket, a purple 'Relay for Life' wristband and a teeshirt with a purple design on it - so I had Grace's memorial a day early. I had plenty of time to think as I walked 4am to 7am and saw the sunrise and felt the wonderful calm of that time of the morning. I meditated as I walked that Grace's death is our world's loss - she was feisty, warm and brave and we need more people like her - but that she is free as a bird now with no more pain

Aw, that's so nice. Yes, Mary is stil with us, she is her old self again and terrorizing the boy cat and my son but we love her anyway.
