I GOT A JOB!

Tutoring after school, 4 days a week. I'm very excited; the president of the company offered me a position after 20 minutes. From everything I know so far, this is going to be a great fit.

When the movers brought the stuff my parents shipped us, I said we were short an item. For all that Anthony Keadis pronounces New Orleans wrong (it's New OR-lins or N'Awlins, not New Or-LEENS), I understand what he means in that lyric. What a city! It's amazing!

I know, I know...I've been black and red since day 1. But a lot of people found that hard to read, and honestly after about 5 years, it got a little old. I was really taken by this theme when I saw it, so I'm going to try it for a while. Plus it matches my subtitle of "She's Grooving in Green!"

When I am looking at dog-oriented products and they feature a Corgi, I immediately feel they are a) superior products and b) I must get one for Ein right away. I think my puppy has brainwashed me. Yes.

In preparation for football season, we are training Ein to jump up on his hindlegs when we say, "Go Steelers!" Or perhaps I should say, "trying to train" him, because he is resisting this. He will go on his hindlegs cheerfully for a handsignal and "Up up up!" but if we use the handsignal and say, "Go Steelers!" instead, he just regards us oddly ( Read more... )

I somehow managed to slash my fingertip open on the altar rail. OW! Hurts so much that typing is painful because I touch the keys. This is NOT what is meant by "the blood of Christ."
