I always get my g's and k's confused in writing, which is weird, because that might only make sense if talking, as they are basically the same sound, just one is "voiced" the other is "devoiced" or "voiceless." (put your fingers on your throat and say "g" and "k" (The sounds, not the letters) over, and over and over again.
