guess who's the same weight?  yep this girl.  I know I'm not doing enough to make a real change.  At least I can tell that my midsection is getting tighter.  I wasn't disgusted when I wore that orange shirt.  Its a bit clingy but I though I had nice clean lines while wearing it, not the usual rolls that show through.  It's totally my diet, I'm ( Read more... )

That Kate Moss quote is my mantra. It makes me remember why I'm working so hard to become healthier.
Weight loss takes time, that's the hardest part, not seeing numbers change on the scale can sometimes be a killer. The good thing is that your feeling tighter. Chances are your just gaining muscle right now. Muscle wieghs more than fat, so it could be why its not going down.
Lol, I know I'm no fitness coach or anything, but these are things I've had to remind myself of over the past 5 months or I wouldn't have gotten this far.

We can do it!

You seem to be doing everything right~
Everybody's different, and we all lose weight/gain muscle differently, blah blah blah~ I try to cut out all the unnecessary stuff - i.e. juice, rice, etc. and it seems to be working. My pants and shirts look baggier?

Yeah I've been slashing here and there, last night I made a list of my biggest indulgence. I've been counting calories and actually following portion sizes. Maybe with this week of running I can push over the hump, its pretty intense for me.

Hey I like your new layout. And you seem to be doing everything right- a few pieces of cake don't make for significant weight gain. Remember that weight loss is a very slow process- you won't see results right away. Which totally sucks I kow, we're so used to getting things instantly. But just keep doing what you're doing. As for your abs you should try Pilates. I had the same problem with abs (Still do lol) but it works your core/ powerhouse and seriously, your abs kill after.

Good luck and keep it up. Good for you for wanting to get healthier.

I guess I'm just disappointed because...not that it was easy but I use to be active swam on my high school swim team and on a summer league and even then I was still overweight but I didn't watch what I ate then but it was easy to maintain. Then I went to college and became pretty sedentary :( and over the course of 5yrs I've gained like 30lbs. Stress, crappy eating habits, and alcohol all helped too. I just don't want to graduate heavy.
