I'm posting from my brand new desktop PC with 320gb hard drive and 2gb RAM and 19" flat screen monitor.

I've named it Darcy.

I wish I had more time to tell you about it but sadly I am already running very late for work...

So very typical.  I go away for a few days, don't read LJ on the basis that nothing much is going to happen in such a short space of time, and come back to find one of my bestest LJ friends has done something life-changing like getting engaged!

Having a brand new hard drive really is much the same as having a brand new computer. Wow, the laptop service people have excelled themselves this time.  Leo was collected from me Tuesday morning and has been returned to me about an hour ago (that's 48 hours later) fully functional again.  They've even fixed the dodgy dvd drive so that it'll read my dodgy dvds ;-)  I never thought I'd say I was impressed with a technical support ( Read more... )
