The One Where The New Desktop Has Arrived

I'm posting from my brand new desktop PC with 320gb hard drive and 2gb RAM and 19" flat screen monitor.

It's shiny :D

I've named it Darcy.

I wish I had more time to tell you about it but sadly I am already running very late for work...

Well.

I've just got myself one of those low-rate balance transfer cards. And I know my current computer is going to give up the ghost sometime over the next, say, six months. So I figured it's better to buy the computer now when I can transfer the cost to my low rate card straight away, than be forced to buy one at a high rate when my old one dies.

Fantastic use of logic, eh?

Oh it's getting cut in half - don't worry! It'd be very stupid for me to spend on it because it's only for balance transfers that it has a low rate, and I already have 2 credit cards for emergencies and what not.

Well it had to be something beginning with D of course. And I wanted an Irish name because he was built in Limerick. Darcy was just perfect :-)
