Every day is a little bit better, which is such a relief. I feel more energetic than I have in over a month. I really feel like I could go out and do a bunch of stuff. I won't, yet, but I think it's a good sign that I'm improving every day. Some things still bother my stomach a bit, but I'm sure that'll get better too. In the meantime, I continue ( Read more... )

So I survived, hoorah. I arrived at the hospital around 10:15, got to the surgical care unit at 10:40, was prepped for surgery by 12:15, and then waited until 2 PM to actually go into surgery. 9.9 Not being a anesthesia-resistant person, I was asleep within seconds after they injected it into my IV, the last thing I remember was someone patting my ( Read more... )

So tomorrow I will have surgery. I can't eat or drink anything after midnight, but I need to try to drink water until my eyeballs are swimming because last time I went to get blood drawn I was dehydrated and they had a lot of trouble finding my veins.
