"La Cantante Grassa" is live!
La Cantante Grassa (The Fat Singer) is my new Fat Acceptance blog over on DreamWidth (I already had the account, so it made sense). I already made an Intro post the other day, but today is the first "real" post, a post inspired by other posts on other FA blogs I read today (they're credited in the post). It's called "But You're Not Fat!" and talks about how this rote response that a lot of the non-fat give us is both insulting and demeaning, as it attempts to erase the part of us they don't like, that doesn't fit in with their view. Because really, it isn't possible to be talented, pretty, smart, AND fat, is it? ;D Give it a read, I think it's pretty good (not my best, but nothing to sneeze at).

EDIT: Just FYI, I will not be announcing blog posts on here every time I post them. I don't actually expect my readership to overlap that much, since most of you haven't shown a lot of interest in my essays.
