[Translation] KinKi Kids 10th Anniversary in Tokyo Dome 2007.07.22 DVD - Part 1
Re-watched this over the weekend. I have it in both raw HQ and Chinese-subbed LQ (by a group named K-iD), so I started doing a second-hand translation to English with the intention of turning it into homemade softsub to go with my HQ.
(virgopalz had another HQ version uploaded here and mentioned that there is no English subs yet.)
What few softsubbing I did (for personal use) had been pure Wordpad work which took me ages to complete, though, so I'm not committing myself into doing it for this one long video... yet. =D;
Putting it up here with the thought that maybe someone can benefit, but uhm, don't put too much trust in my accuracy. ^^0 Sorry... As far as I can tell the Chinese translation looks accurate, but my Chinese is not perfect and my Japanese is not at a passing level. There has certainly been some rephrasing on my part, too.

K: 21 July 2007 was the 10th anniversary of KinKi Kids' CD debut. Again at Tokyo Dome, we held this one-day concert. We have acquired a place where we can express our gratitude to everyone.
T: We have acquired such a place.
K: Well, it occured to me again, when I look back at these ten years... Even though myself is not a person who likes to reflect on the past... Still, if I look back on these ten years, my memory really gets filtered into a lot of pieces.
T: It does.
K: Probably there are too many various things.
T: There are.
K: Together with Tsuyoshi, strictly speaking, it has already been more than ten years.
T: More than ten years. We've been asked many times, "It's been ten years, what are your thoughts?" But if we think carefully, then it's actually "ten years since the CD debut".
K: So, at that place, at our concert venue, we could feel the presence of a lot of people who have supported us for more than ten years.
T: We could.
K: I suppose there are a lot of people who came to like us because of "Garasu no Shounen".
T: There are a lot.
K: And then there are those who only recently listened to our songs and thought they were good.
T: Unexpectedly, on our radio program, we have received postcards from teenagers. I became very curious when exactly they started to become fans. It is really not long ago. Say, since "Biroodo no Yami".
K: That's true.
T: There are a lot of such cases too.
K: Therefore, during concerts we can feel that indeed there are a lot of people who have been together with KinKi Kids. We can feel a lot of emotions (of people who have been) growing together with us until now. We can feel that very strongly during concerts. There is this element to it, too.
T: I often recall the first time I stood on the Tokyo Dome stage.
K: So, um...
T: The first time we had a concert, there were no audience seat down there.
K: Yeah. Even the arena was a stage with 360-degree view.
T: So indeed...
K: At first, I thought the venue was really too huge.
T: Too huge. That was the first time I had the thought of how nice it would've been if we had 6 or 7 members.
K: So you had that kind of thought!
T: Because really, there were very few formations to do, right? No matter how we arranged it, KinKi Kids would...
K: ...would stand back to back.
T: Most of the time it would be back to back. So if one of us did a somewhat different movement, we'd be very worried about it.
K: Right, right.
T: Sometimes people would misunderstood that we were ignoring each other. But really, um... at that time the arena below Dome had no audience seats. If Kouichi went to the right of the stage, then I would go to the left. Even though this arrangement was just natural to do, the center of the stage would become very empty.
K: Yes, yes, so it was difficult to decide on a good formation.
T: It was difficult. We discussed this problem too, didn't we.
K: Yeah. But as we grew older, the concerts have also changed.
T: They have changed.
K: Tokyo Dome is such a large venue. It's difficult to unite the audience, to unite everybody.
T: It's very difficult.
K: In order to decrease the distance as much as we can, we always consider how to arrange the concert stage and all. But this time we purposely didn't plan on anything fancy. We just constructed a ring-shaped stage at the center, for the concert. We would focus our gratitude in the songs that we performed for everyone. We hoped to create a warm atmosphere in this way.
T: That's right. We, KinKi, have been holding music events. At times, we write the music and lyrics ourselves. There are many opportunities to do these. So the public has often viewed us as a group with strong music flavor. Of course, it is also due to the songs KinKi performs, the songs themselves. We have been singing songs that can be accepted by the majority of the public. We are also very thankful about this.
T: When we consider all these various things, indeed, rather than having fancy arrangements, we want to throw all of our hearts and actions into it in a simple way, saying "Thank you" to the audience, to all the staff and all who are involved.
K: Right, right. In our normal concerts, we usually go around the stage separately, going near the audience.
T: Although we usually do it that way...
K: Although we usually do it that way, this time, the two of us stayed close to each other, facing the audience from a 360-degree angle. (We thought that) by expressing our grateful feelings in this way, everyone would also be able to focus there.

T: In reality there are a lot of people who have showered us with love, who have created the (loving) environment for us. I can't help but remember a lot of things. For the very first concert, First Live, we were already allowed to perform at Budoukan.

T: That time it was also very sudden, wasn't it, at lunch...

T: When we were told that we would be holding a concert, I was worried if anyone would come to watch. We didn't even have a choreographer. We came up with the dance steps ourselves. We did a lot of things, didn't we?
K: That's why, I feel that the fans who only know the present me might not be able to imagine how I was like at that time. At that time, it was as though I was having a teething fever.
T: Ah, it was?
K: Really. It's like when you get too excited before a trip and end up with a fever.
T: But seriously, we didn't even have a choreographer. Thinking about it now, that's really amazing.
K: That's right.
T: On our own, we watched a lot of dance videos, discussed this-and-that movements.
K: That was how we did it.

K: But from another perspective, our concert in Budoukan was also held before our CD debut. From that point of time we were already allowed to join several music programs. We experienced that too. So it can be said that we have grown up in that way.
T: That's right. So when we stand on this huge Tokyo Dome stage... Well, there are certainly still a lot of troubles and worries, but it is exactly because we have the chance to encounter this sort of situations, that even though there are only the two of us, we can stand on this stage properly.
K: That's right. Really, everyone love us a lot. They support us from their hearts. That... what should I call it... love-resembling thing, has turned into something wonderful. You can say it is that love that has shaped us.
T: It really is.
K: I strongly feel so.
T: While I am really thankful to the fans who have supported us... Through the media, at times there would appear words that were not said -- or directly said -- by us, or there would be times when our words were misunderstood.
