10th Short - [Action]

[Luceti was almost destroyed. Almost. It turned out to be just another prank by the Malnosso, or whatever, but for a while Oswald was convinced that his new home would be crushed by a creepy moon. Then, just like a cartoon short, it all ended and everything was reset to normal. But unlike a cartoon short, this story didn't have a happy ending. None

[Oswald isn't the only one feeling that feeling of pointlessness. Eggman's been pretty down ever since being helpless against the Malnosso's kidnapping droids. He had his spark back briefly, but being able to do nothing against one measly moon has crushed his spirits again.

After going on a walk to think about his situation, Eggman will just stop on the bridge next to where Oswald is sitting and stand, looking down at the flowing water silently with a long face.]

Ho ho! Very well then! [Eggman turns away from the river and off to follow Oswald, considering all the wonderful vegetables he could use to make batteries.]

[Let's hope Eggman doesn't mind climbing eight floors' worth of stairs, because that's where Oswald's apartment is. All the way up on floor eight.]

Until about the fifth flight of stairs when all of this is seeming too much like hard work.]

Gah! Doesn't this place have an elevator?!

[Oswald, meanwhile, is still merrily hopping along on the stairs.]

Elevator? ...I guess none of the great scientists have gotten around to building one yet.

It can't be that difficult! [Eggman wipes his brow and is breathing heavily from exhaustion.] How can you climb this many stairs every day?

Oh, I don't always climb 'm. Sometimes I fly up. [He says this as if it's the most normal thing in the world for rabbits to fly.]
