A Different Kind of Sameness

I'm sitting at my computer right now ripping music to mp3.  I feel like I've been here before.  Taking each CD I own and ripping it into mp3. I let my anal nature get the best of me.  I decided to re-rip my library through iTunes so I have consistent bitrates (320kbs) and so all the file IDs etc are the same.  Once I'm done I'm probably going to do

I'm glad your back. You lead an interesting life and I always enjoy reading your posts and finding out what you and your friends are up to. It's good to hear everything is going so well and your already off to a great year.

Thanks man... like a lot of other folks on here, facebook just don't provide me with the forum (or audience) of folks I want to share these kinds of posts with. So I'm glad to still have LJ.

Yeah, I work 'til 1am on Su and 2am M-W so with the podcast on Thursday night that pretty much just gives me Fri and Sa which is when most folks want to go out to the bars or at least go out to do something. For now it's worth it to me but I can see trying to scale back to maybe 3 shifts a week down the road. We'll see.

It's good to post again either way.

I do put photos on Facebook but I put all of my shots on Flickr. I don't know if I'll ever leave Flickr - I just dig it too much.
