Yesterday ended up working out okay, mostly.  The carpooling is awesome but getting up at 5:20 is rough.  I've been doing this semi-slack 9am/10am business for so long.  I gotta say though, getting home by 5pm has been awesome.  I might be losing a bit of sanity and sleep but the extra time to get things done (aka be alive) is a bonus.

yeah, I'm gonna just watch the rest of 'em on Hulu or on the SciFi website... not quite as good as HD but it'll have to do.

we saw that version of Company here in Cincinnati before it went to Broadway. Raul Esparza was amazing.

I wish I could have seen it live... I had been told for a long while how great it was. I'll just have to make do with HD and the volume up nice and loud :)

I stay jolly by reminding myself that I got to see Wicked and Spring Awakening (twice) with the original casts :)

That is so funny; I was just watching this production of Company the other day, but I didn't get all the way through b/c of work stuff. I'm a big fan of this director's use of instrumentalists/vocalists and minimal stage scenery. I also was very pleased with the LOST season finale - I think that the writer's strike forced them to tighten up some pacing issues that left me flat in Season 3. Thought this season was some pretty wonderful television.

Hope you enjoy the rest of it. It builds to such a powerful conclusion. I wish more musicals put out high quality versions of their shows for television. I have a copy of Into the Woods and the sing-along version of Les Mis but it'd be pretty nifty if Sweeney Todd (redux) or Spring Awakening were released as well.
