I don't mind it really... i just take a book and my iPod and relax... it's a shorter commute too!

Incredible suckage. The one thing that gets you through it is asking yourself "Can you imagine what the country would be like without a jury system?"

That said, there was an excellent book a few years ago by a retired judge who lambasted the current system saying that it didn't honor the time and effort that potential jurors put in, calling for better accommodations and respectful treatment for people who make a democracy work.
