I dunno, I had a good day at work and topped it off with meeting some of the old school gang for one last send off for Jeff (dinner at Mo's) and about midway through it started to sink in just how much things will change when Jeff leaves. He's been my partner in crime for about eight years and he's the guy I always call when I need someone to talk

Know 'xactly how ya feel. Found out that my oldest remaining close friends in Baltimore, my bestest buddies and bowling team, are moving to Florida by the end of July. I knew it was coming eventually, and I'm glad they're making a change for the better, but damn, I'm gonna miss 'em. Granted, over the last year I have made a ton of new friends, but it's just not the same. Not yet, anyway.

Seems like all the old guard are gettin' out of Dodge. And so, there's fewer and fewer reasons to actually stay here. :/

Anyway, hope you feel better soon. I know I will, but it's gonna take a while.

Thanks - it's going to be tough but I'm lucky enough to have a bunch of great guys here in SD to lean on (not to mention all the LJ/net crew out there). Will be easy enough to keep up with my friends I 'spose.

If anything, I guess I've been a little spoiled - havin' all the people I came into the San Diego scene with stick around for as long as they have.
