Well my first training course, GCS MK 34, MK 160 MOD 11 is ending on friday and it feels like I am moving away. Pretty crazy when you spend 2.5 months in one place. Lately I have been thinking how awesome 2008 has been. I have done so much and seen so many things. So I just got back from the SAMPE wing competition. Pretty epic. Our wing was disqualified because the assholes in the organization use very ambiguous and inconsistent regulations. After verifying with over 5 people on a specific rule, we still got fucked. Oh well we would have placed I think 4th or so anyways. We did win 3rd prize in the poster ( Read more... )

I can't wait for the day that I no longer am given money by my parents. I know that they are paying my rent and giving me food money, but I still hate that I did not earn any of it. I think it is funny how dead journal was originally popular, then livejournal overtook it, and then, as it is now, it also became dead.

This summer has kicked ass so far. Del Mar Fair, Beaches, San Francisco, blah blah blah. I just started tutoring at this charter school and it is pretty chill. It is cool when you are a helping a kid who is trying to learn and they take interest in what auxiliary information you are giving them. I haven't had myspace for a year and I have exiled facebook for the summer which I feel good about because I waste a lot less time sitting on the internet clicking from one pointless page to the next. Summer has been great so far. No deadlines, no due dates, no strenuous studying and being in boring Santa Barbara. I loved being home in the summer. ( Read more... )

I am going to be 21 in a month. It is going to be sweet. I can just stroll down to the store and pick up some tasty beer. Good times. School is ending in 6 days. Finally, I need a break.
