I'm finding it really sad that it seems a lot of people are comparing the death of Amy Winehouse to the tragedies in Norway, and then saying Amy brought it on herself. From my perspective they're both tragic in totally different ways. It's not even confirmed that Amy's death was even drink/drug related!!
If i were to go down the whole comparing-tragedies route, then i'd point out that Ryan Dunn got a lot of respect for his death, despite him drink-driving AND speeding AND his friend dying in the accident too, and also considering that many more people could have died due to his actions.
Also am rather pissed that certain news outlets are still trying to claim the guy in Norway is Muslim. Like, seriously, wtf?! Not all terrorists are Muslim...and damn, Britain should know that considering we've been dealing with terrorism long before 9/11!
Maybe i should just not read the news or facebook anymore. It just makes me angry. The trouble is last time i cut myself off from the news i missed out on interesting things - like the whole phone hacking thing.
