Was on the bus this morning, on my way to Lisa's house, when a violent assault took place as we were passing through downtown Berkeley. A (possibly homeless) 40-ish black man became enraged over basically nothing & forcefully punched an older blind white man in the head. Oh my god, how awful! I don't think I've ever seen anything anywhere near that bad on public transit, and I ride the 18 all the time.

I hope you calm down well.

(Also, I miss you. Schedules will be hard to coordinate for the next two weeks, and then easier again. I will send email.)
