You were a hero, and I'm glad you didn't feel self-conscious.

If your head doesn't let today happen, 1) I still love you, and 2) do you have a way to let me know? I'll be on email until I leave to meet you.

Right now my head is mostly fine, so I'm planning to leave for CWC in 45 minutes or so & to see you at noon. I will borrow a phone to call you on your cell if things change between now and then.

Man, that sounds frustrating!

" it might help if I start out right off with pointing out the assumptions that the fitness coaches probably make about what beginning exercisers need and want - " Maybe rather than tell him what you think he's assuming, maybe just start with "Before we actually start talking about the exercise part, I need to give you some background on my health situation and explain what I'm hoping to accomplish, because my situation may not be what you're used to working with"? I think writing down your major points is an excellent idea? I hope this time it goes better!

This is so incredibly smart that I just copied and pasted it into my notes for talking to the fitness coach. You caught me making assumptions about his assumptions - thank you!
