I did change my name at work. I figured that I'm early enough on in my career to change it as I've got 30 years ahead compared to the 3 or 4 years I'd done before getting married. If I need to list publications, I just put my maiden name ones at the top.

Thanks for that, its a very good point! Definitely something for me to consider. BTW glad your scan went well the other day, I have been enjoying reading about your pregnancy progress. The first thing Daniels mum said when he told her about the engagement was "Id quite like a grandson"!! LOL its a bit early yet, but hopefully some day! Hxx

This is very true, mr S will of course be heavily involved in everything. He has a side kick now - "The Purple creature" and they just cant stop causing havoc between them! Very naughty indeed! Hxx

Thank you lovely Miss Joy! The ring is indeed very subtle, I just cant abide big rocks set in yellow gold that are probably very very expensive but just look so cheap and takcy. I have no idea where to even begin with the planning thing, its weird because daniel and I both hate weddings with a passion and now we have to go to our own and do all the hideous planning stuff too!! Hxxx
