ENGAGED!!!
Last night my lovely amazing wonderful daniel face asked me to spend the rest of my life with him and I said yes : D I am absolutely INSANELY happy right now and just cant stop grinning from ear to ear - Im going to be a real life fish-wife hoorah!!! He got me the most beautiful elagant ring, he has the most awesome taste in jewelry ever - its a white gold band with 12 little diamonds set into it, I just couldnt have picked a more "me" one myself. It still hasnt really sunk in yet, we're actually getting married, like we're going to have a wedding and stuff - bizaar!!! He was so romantic too, I got home from a dull day at work to find flowers and candles all over the apartment and a lovely dinner and wine and then he got down on one knee and proposed (to which I romantically replied "really!!? I mean like REALLY!!?" before obviously saying yes). Apparently he had been practising the one knee thing because he was worried he might fall : D
Have absolutely no idea when we will get married but its definitely going to be somewhere in england and its definitely going to be non-traditional - none of this tacky disco and booze up bollocks! Since we are both about as non-materialistic as they come we shall also not be spending vast amounts of money on things like dresses and flowers and dinners, we both feel that it would be a nauseating waste of money and it doesnt matter if you spend 1K or 10K its the love and symbolism thats the most important thing and the thing we really want to focus on, spending stupid amounts of money isnt going to affect how we feel about each other. I also think that we will keep it small and only invite people who really really mean a lot to us rather than having every tom dick and harry that we know, I just hope daniels two best mates will be able to make it over otherwise Jonna is gonna have to be the best man and that could easily spell disaster LOL!!!
