I know what you mean about discovering a new fandom and having all the excitement of new fics and masses of them of to read. I love that feeling. I miss that feeling. Of being so immersed in a single fandom and not coming up for air. I don't have that right now, not really. I'm jumping around between Suits and Teen Wolf and old flames.

I'm being pulled in so many directions by so many ideas, I'm having loads of problems settling. When it was all Merlin all the time, it was easier to stick with writing M/A fics. Now, no such luck. ¬_¬

I saw Teen Wolf. Cute. Well, Stiles is cute, and that guy who's the equivalent of Damon from the Vampire Diaries is hot. :D Also I like the blond cheerleader who knows how to make a Molotov's cocktail. :D

I miss being into Merlin as well, the thrill of it. I don't think I'll ever revisit that particular state of mind though. That said, I recently re-read Accidental Memory in the Case of Death and am as awed, as the first time. Aw, Merlin, good times.

Well, Merlin will never feel fresh and new, no doubt about it. There are good works here, though, and always will be.

TBH? I never quite understood the level of reverence for that particular story, but maybe one really has to be very into reincarnation.

I'm not into reincarnation at all, actually, that is I neither like nor dislike the trope.

But I am into subtly woven stories and believable characters, and this fic nailed it for me. I like A/M flawed but not assholes nor little persecuted woobies bleeding h/c all over the place, and that's actually rather hard to find, especially in a long story. I also can't appreciate straight up rom-com romance plots and the tropes that go with it the way other people seem to (I've developed a fear of barista AUs :D). Also with time I grew to appreciate sex scenes that push the plot along - sex for the sake of it lost some of its allure (wtf getting old).

Blah, blah, what I mean is that fic is my favourite or second favourite Merlin story. You can call it reverence :D

I see. Thanks for taking the pains to explain your preference, no kidding, I appreciate that. People do that surprisingly rarely, or at least not as often as you'd expect. We shy away from honesty where fandoms are concerned too often. It's refreshing. :)

About merlin, i'm trying to continue a fic crossover with star trek where Merlin is half vulcan, quarter romulan and quarter human (yep he is the son or grandson of Saavik and David kirk if you are wondering)
And Arthur is the captain of the starfleet ship excalibur, but i need more plot, like and an adventure, that i don't have yet, so no fic yet :(

And as i say to you the other day i'm in reading Xmen first Class fics and Sherlock a lot, but i don't believe i could write in Sherlock... Maybe in xmen, idk...

But i will try to finish my crossover for you if you are interested brain storm is apreciated also cheerleading!!!

So glad you are liking Sabrina fic! (which is what I call it in my head and not that other random title... lol)

I know what you mean about entering a new fandom that has a massive amount of fics just waiting for you to devour. Though I do get a similar squirmy belly excitement when Paper Legends begins and I know there will be at least a dozen that I will be head over hills in love with. :)
