Re-awakening
I'm going to start using LiveJournal again more...at least I'm going to try. I've reconnected with my words (http://babalonsgate.blogspot.com) and I've picked up a "real" camera again after a very long time away. A Day Off
D is off doing a very long day today. It started at 3:00 this morning and I don't expect him to be home before 10:00 tonight. It takes a long time to do a burn-out and pour a cast. Dog Days of Summer?
Here it is, the last full day of summer and I have the Bug From Hell. Yes, sick as a dog on the last day of summer. At least the fever broke (topping out at 101). Maybe the job market is opening up...
So I have a real live job interview tomorrow. It has been so incredibly long since I've had one, especially one that could possibly pan out. I'm very very hopeful. Please keep positive thoughts for me while I try to wow their socks off, without coming across as being too over-qualified ( Read more... ) -
So what have I been doing?
Life is just too hectic right now. Some things are incredibly awesome (I'm engaged) and some things are still incredibly tiresome (the employment front). For right now though, I wanted to see if I could post some pictures of D's stuff.

Life is very good right now...
I've been far too busy lately and I still have a fairly good sized list of things that need to be accomplished, but I'm whittling away at it.- Memorization is going well even though I wanted to have it done by now. I'm currently at about 90% and I still have a week to go before first rehearsal.

Art
I spent the day yesterday at a friends house making art. It was so much fun. She does many kinds of art, different from the kinds that I do. I ended up making more of her kind than my kind but I think that was goodness. She does stained glass, stamping, embossing, and some small amounts of painting mostly geared around her stamps ( Read more... )
