Haven't been about much due to being overwhelmed.  Work got CRAZY BUSY last week.  Rob was away working at his job, so did the single mommy thing for a few days.  Had to hire a sitter for 2 days since daycare was closed for holidays.  Took down Xmas stuff.  Got a tummy ache that lasted 2 or 3 days.  Not sure if something I ate just hated me or what ( Read more... )

We had a lovely relaxing weekend. My mom took Kye Saturday night, so my husband and I had 24 hours of childless bliss XD. We sat on the couch and read together, watched a movie, ordered pizza, decorated the tree some more, etc etc. I took a 2 hour bubble bath! Yay! Now if only tomorrow was NOT Monday... Ah well. Just read Jim Butcher's Turn Coat.  Rollicking good time as usual.  The Harry Dreden series is probably my equivalent to other folks...  I dunno...  Think action/adventure, fairly light, fluffy, rollercoaster ride.  Rollcoaster ride!  There it is!  LOL - Knew there was an analogy in that stream of thought someplace XD.
