Urban fantasy is like my guilty reading pleasure.  I think the Jane Yellowrock novels are my favorites.  Mercy Thompson used to top the list, but the last 2 or 3 books were weak IMO.  Kate Daniels would top the list if the author would release a new freaking book more often.  Then again, quality before quantity I suppose, but still, she's released ( Read more... )

One of the best books I've ever read. I loved it. I am a software developer, a casual gamer, and was a teen during the 80s. I feel like this book was custom written just for me. I enjoyed it SO MUCH! Just read the latest in the Elantra series and the Jane Yellowrock series.  Both books were good, especially the Elantra one.  Now I have to go back and reread the whole series for both.  I always seem to NEED to do that.  Well, I guess I won't run out of books to read anytime soon.
