On the topic of Zexion...

CONTENT CHANGED DUE TO THE LACK OF SLEEP I HAD YESTERDAY WHICH CAUSED ME TO RANT ENTIRELY ABOUT ZEXION'S SHOES
I fail. I know. And I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Take another good look at Zexion in this pic1) Zexion clearly appears younger than most of the other Organization members in the original Chain of Memories ( Read more... )

Hnnn, not sure if I agree with the age thing, based simply on his shoes. Xaldin's are pretty rounded off, and he's not some shorty kid waltzing around. Besides that, Mickey is pretty old in reality, and his shoes are pretty friggin' round.

For all we know, Zexion probably just doesn't age like his fellow former apprentices. My brother is turning 27 this year, and he looks like he's still friggin' 17.

However, if people are actually writing Ienzo as a child having hot sexings, I'll be a little worried~

Well, I don't know that you call 100% tell a character's age by their shoes... is there anything that canonically states his age as a teenager?

Do Nobodies age?

I think someone showed that Nobodies do age. In CoM, it's seen pretty clearly how short both Sora and Namine are. By the time we're in KH2, Namine has grown. It's not unrealistic to say that aging might differ depending on the Nobody, though; there's a lot of properties about them we just don't know about.

They have Somebodies, and are constantly shown to be special Nobodies. It could be a thing unique to those two, to age.

Or maybe not. We have no idea, truly, other than it appears at least that Namine aged. :D

I personally think that Nobodies don't age, really, but that's just how I see things.
I don't see Ienzo being an apprentice to Ansem the Wise at the ripe old age of seven or younger. =/

I agree - "Spurred on by my youngest apprentice, Ienzo, I constructed a massive laboratory in the basement of my castle."

While he's the youngest, I can't see Ansem the Wise giving into the demands of a KID. Especially for a MASSIVE LAB.

Again - "I shall perform an experiment to probe the depths of a person's heart. One of my own apprentices, Xehanort, has volunteered to be a subject. "

One of his apprentices, implying he already had apprentices at the time. Whether Ienzo was one or not at the time, again, would Ansem the Wise be testing the depths of hearts in KIDS?

Unbeknownst to be, my six apprentices then began collecting a large number of subjects on which to perform dangerous experiments into the "darkness of the heart."

Again, with the aging matter - uh, no matter how mature some of the kids in KH are, I still find it hard to buy that Ienzo, at age 9 (at most - assuming he was 20 at time of KH1) would be going along with "dangerous experiments".

Kevin Winicott, aged fourteen, in Xenosaga.

*SPOILERS*

He created KOS-MOS. He managed to talk Joachim Mizrahi into creating the Song of Nephilim. Or was that Shion's father. Anyway, never underestimate a kid. Especially in this day and age.

While I won't argue whether Zexion was a teen when he became a Nobody, we don't really know if Nobodies age. He could just be stuck in the body of a teenage boy ^_^

Or, you know, just like big shoes.

I can't decide which is worse a fate; THAT or being a Nobody. XD

Oh god, I'd want to age RIGHT AWAY. XD I'd rather be an old man!

Me too! You couldn't pay me to go through my teens again.

I disagree.

I don't think he's a teenager. Young, yes, but I'd be hard pressed to put him below age 20. I, personally, don't believe typical Nobodies age - with the exception of Naminé and Roxas, who are Special, and have alive and growin' Somebodies elsewhere.

I really don't think twelve-year-old-whatever Ienzo was corrupting people and convincing Ansem the Wise to give them a lab. Nor do I believe Ansem the Wise would be taking in disciples at really young ages to study the heart and whatnot. Sounds just a BIT weird, to me.
