This is more of a general rant:

Why are there so few good fics in the first person? D: It's been so long it's become an unthinking habit, but I'm thinking there must be something accounting for this gut instinct of mine to backpedal as soon as I see 'I' in the narration or the summary.

Okay. Yeah you have a big point there about that. I think the only time you're MAYBE safe bringing in an OC, is when it's an AU. Otherwise...You're dead. -makes a slicing motion across the throat-

There isn't even room in the Kingdom Hearts storyline for a major OC. Not without disrupting most of the story... And there just really isn't need for one. *sighs* Frankly, an OC is automatic grounds for AU... If there must be OC, I'd like to see it done right, plz.

.___o For some reason.. I get the feeling that the gansta.. is gonna be Riku.. Since I have heard comments about his outfit. Just cause..I'm assuming his brother is gonna be Sora and ..hm.. Seifer and Sora would be kind of interesting. XD

Secondly, the, uh, voice? I think part of the problem with 'I' voice is that it's a lot easier to slip out of character and into your own voice, because That is SO not something I can just be all ‘okey doky, poky wokey’ with.... Doesn't sound to me like anything Roxas would spout. :|

Mm. I'm pretty sure I fail at it too. D: I've got... actually, I've got way too many fics in the first person. o____O Dunno how that happened. I'm not sure why any of them were in first person, come to think of it. ;;; The purpose of writing in first person is...?

Ahahahaha. But I guess not much of fandom can claim to be sane... ;;;
