As long as you can swim, a leak in a boat is no big deal. I might try to argue for my money back before I jumped out.

interesting that none of the passengers, nor the fisherman with the boat took the time to plug the leak.

I think they should ask for their money back, as kushielsfire says, except the fisherman drowned and so they missed their chance. They could have helped plug the leak, and then the fisherman would be alive.

Some how the first thing I thought about when I read this was the world economy issues right now. We have all these people bailing while others think they are plugging the whole but really they're in there with drills making it bigger.
