So, I've been here for about half a week now. The first two days I was at Lubbock Landmark and we really didn't do much. It was nice to have a bit of time to adjust after traveling. So far, we've lost power 3 days in a row:  Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.  We're not exactly sure what's going on, but we always get it back some time in the afternoon, so we're not too worried.  It was a little annoying yesterday because the cleaning lady wasn't able to do laundry, so I'm running out of clothes.  I would wash my clothes by hand in ( Read more... )

On Thursday we were supposed to go to Mount Olympus, but unfortunatly we were unable to get a bus.  This seems typical to me of the organization of the trip.  Our professor ended up being the one to book the busses on Monday of the week of the trips, and I'm pretty sure that the person in charge of booking the busses was supposed to have already ( Read more... )

Last time I left off, I was talking about the faηade of the graves.  We haven't even gotten to what they found in the graves!  As I said earlier, the grave of Standing Pillars and the grave of the Rape of Persephone were completely looted.  Not so at all for the grave of King Phillip.  The grave of King Phillip (the second, remember) was completely ( Read more... )
