*Tomorrow is insane during the morning and day, but all the numerous plans in the evening aren't baby/mama-friendly, so I miss out again, just like I've been missing out for the past 11 months. I need recognition for the sacrifices I've made to make my son healthy, but that's probably asking too much.
You know I can nurse A, so you could leave him with me for several hours. I know you wouldn't want to go out all night, but if you want to go catch a movie or get in a couple hours of dancing or something, I can handle it.
And honey, I send you recognition from those of us who have been there; we know how soul-destroying it is to raise a little baby. It's a shame most of society doesn't seem to understand the stresses placed upon an involved and caring mother, but at least some of us recognize what you're going through and what an awesome thing you're doing. <3

I'm sorry to hear it about your back; that's really unfortunate. [hugs] I hope it heals up quickly and well. (And I'm sure you're still doing plenty of work as a mama, back or no back. It might not be all you'd wish, but I somehow don't see you sitting around eating bonbons. [grin] You're obviously passionately engaged in parenting regardless of what your body is up to.)
It almost seems like that particular depression they have coined and slapped like label for new mothers, a band-aid... (boys do forgive me!) a males way of grasping having just given birthed creation and now being responsible for it's physical and mental creation, for it's life. Depression nothing
