My hair needed to be a little more blond than it is, so I went to get a little color done. I did this a couple of years ago, and it was a fiasco because the lady only did highlights, and she bleached too much, so I ended up having white hair with VERY visible dark roots. NOT what "lighten it a bit" meant at ALL

Also, it totally doesn't look bad at all. However, if it's not what you wanted or what you were going for, it can be a complete shock.

But...but...Fargo is a classic. Yes, I know that doesn't help, but still.

My scalp always burns like fire after coloring, and I usually have to put some kind of lotion, like Bath & Body Works type stuff on my scalp before I can even lay my head on the pillow to sleep.

I hope you can get it to the color you want without too much fuss. Oy.
