my insurance adjuster called while i was in the shower last night. and she did not answer when i tried to call her back. and probably left on a four month vacation to an exotic locale reachable only by carrier pigeon. because that would be just my luck ( Read more... ) -
who knew it was so tough to find a table?
for maybe the second time in my life, i was in pier1 over the weekend and found the perfect dining room table. solid wood, surprisingly inexpensive. the only drawback? its size: FUCKING ENORMOUS. why do they make furniture so big these days? bah.

i filed an insurance claim just a few hours after the accident on saturday. the insurance adjuster still has not contacted me, so i tracked her down and left a passive aggressive "hi, this is kelvicious. i'm calling to introduce myself. please let me know if you need any information in order to MOVE FORWARD HEY HOW'S ABOUT MOVING FORWARD???" i just popped 40mg of accutane and am slowly ticking off the days. only 141 to go! hm.
unfortunately, every day sucks more than the previous:
my eyes are dry and scratchy and to compensate they well up at inappropriate times so i look like i'm crying at hiring meetings. LOVELY AND PROFESSIONAL.

wah!
i was in a really scary car accident this afternoon, at the tail end of a six car pile-up in the fort pitt tunnels. someone who apparently wasn't familiar with the whole concept of tunnels came to a dead stop about 1/3 of the way in, causing the guy behind him to slam on the brakes, the guy behind him to slam on the brakes, etc. in no time at all ( Read more... ) -

ok, side effects to add to the growing list:
- blurry vision in my right eye
- back pain
but still none of the severe skin dryness and chapped lips that i have heard about. i'm sure it's just a matter of time. -
