wah!
i was in a really scary car accident this afternoon, at the tail end of a six car pile-up in the fort pitt tunnels. someone who apparently wasn't familiar with the whole concept of tunnels came to a dead stop about 1/3 of the way in, causing the guy behind him to slam on the brakes, the guy behind him to slam on the brakes, etc. in no time at all, i watched the pickup truck in front of me bounce off the left wall of the tunnel, into a car on his right and back into the left wall, sending him up in to the air. i hit him when he came back down.
by some miracle, i'm not dead! or injured! chris is ok, too (ha). our airbags didn't deploy. in fact, no one was injured at all.
we think the car is totaled. it had to be towed away and the tow truck guy said he thought the frame was bent, which = totaled. and that really sucks because i just got done paying that piece of shit off in february, now i'll have a new car to worry about (not the worst thing ever, but i did enjoy not paying for my car every month).
now i'm just sitting here thinking of all the things i could be doing instead of sitting here. i have to wait until monday to get a rental. wah!
