It was kind of ironic that I was listening to CCR's "Susie Q" when I started reading this.

You made me cry. And I can't really afford to be crying right now because I have to crank out an essay, but gah. Angsty and beautifully written. I loved how Mark took her out of the city for a few days, and that they both cried over the loss of their little one. The hurt is evident the whole way through, and I loved the appearance of Derek in the fic being a support system and putting aside old problems. So wonderful.

It's great to see that the trio was able to work out their differences and be there for each other, and Addie as a mother is always love. So, I almost cried, which is a pretty big thing. My dad was out of town when it happened, and my mom had told me that she'd been gone for 10 minutes and came back when my dad walked back into the room just to say bye.
