Pam was bored. She wasn't particularly depressed, really, all things considered. But she was listless, and not really wanting to do much of anything.

Which was why she was lying on her bed, balancing a pencil on her nose.

Jim decided to stop by and provide some friendly support now that he was normal and not hopped up on coffee. He knocked on the door.

"Open!" Pam called, carefully not moving so that the pencil wouldn't fall.

[fat_halpert]

Jim opened the door and stepped in. "Pam, look out, there's a pencil on your nose!"

[keds_champion]

"Shhh, I've been balancing for 47 seconds," she said.

[fat_halpert]

"I'm impressed," Jim said. "Have a high score on that, too?"

[keds_champion]

"Did you beat my Tetris score?" she wondered, darting her gaze over towards him but not moving.

[fat_halpert]

"So, what inspired you to balance the pencil on your nose?" Jim asked.

[keds_champion]

"So you didn't?" she replied.

[fat_halpert]

"I don't see why you refuse to answer my question," Jim said.

[keds_champion]

"You refused mine first," she replied.

[fat_halpert]

"Yes, but my question is more important to current events," Jim said.

[keds_champion]

"I saw a pencil and had nothing else to do. There, answered. Answer mine now."

[fat_halpert]

"I already have my answer, I have no reason to give you yours," Jim said.

Pam frowned. "Mean."

[fat_halpert]

"What are you going to do about it?" Jim asked.

[keds_champion]

Pam threw the pencil at him.
